Sufism goes beyond religion and talks about true love for the Almighty. One doesn't need to visit the temple or the mosque to pray to god, but can do that with an honest plea from anywhere. This song has great positive energy to it and Hitesh Sonik wanted an honest and happy voice to sing it. On hearing the Nooran sisters, Jyoti and Sultana, he was sure that this would be a great partnership! The Nooran sisters were also part of the iconic track Tung Tung from MTV Sound Trippin. This spiritual song has a subliminal energy thanks to their raw and rustic voices. Through the addition of drums and Balabhaskar's magical piece on the violin, Hitesh effortlessly brings in a rock vibe to the song.\n\nFind the lyrics at http://www.cokestudioindia.com/season2/episode2.html?WT.cl=1&WT.mn=Episode%202\n\nCredits:\n\nProducer: Hitesh Sonik\nLanguage: Punjabi\nLyrics: Traditional Lyrics\nVocals: Jyoti Nooran & Sultana Nooran\nViolin: Balabhaskar Santhakumari\nDrums: Darshan Doshi\nKeys: Jarvis Menezes\nPercussion: Anupam Deghatak\nKeys: Gaurav Vaswani\nGuitar: Hitesh Sonik\nGuitar: Kalyan Baruah\nGuitar: Sanjay Joseph\nBass: Mohini Dey\nFlute: Paras Nath\nRecorded by: Steve Fitzmaurice, Ashish Manchanda (Flying Carpet Productions, Mumbai), assisted by Thorsten Muller\nMixed by Steve Fitzmaurice at the Pierce Rooms, London\nMastered by Bunt Stafford Clark at the Pierce Rooms, London\n\nSong Synopsis: \nBulle nu loki matti dinde,\n\nBulleya aa Baija Vich maseeti,\n\nBulle nu loki matti dinde,\n\nBulleya aa Baija Vich maseeti,\n\nVich Maseetan de ki kuch hunde\n\nJe dilon namaz na Niti\n\nBahron doye lattan Gode\n\nAnderen Rahi Paliti\n\nTera dil khadave munde kudiya\n\nSajde karen Maseeti\n\nKannan nu haath lave pehle\n\nPher Nawaz ne Niti\n\nDuniyadara Rabb de naal vi,\n\nChaar sau vi ten kitti.\n\nAlla Hoooooooo\n\nAllaaaa Hoooooooo\n\nAlla Hoooooooo\n\nAllaaaa Hoooooooo\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon.\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nNa Kar bandiya Meri meri,\n\nNa Kar bandiya Meri meri,\n\nNa Kar bandiya, bandiya, ho bandiya\n\nNa Kar bandiya Meri meri\n\nNa Kar bandiya Meri meri\n\nNa Kar bandiya Meri meri\n\nNa Kar bandiya Meri meri\n\nDum da vasa koi na,\n\nVasa koi na!\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon.\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nMere yaar da chamkhiya diva,\n\nMere yaar daaaa\n\nMere yaar daaaa, yaar da, yaar daaaaa, yaar daaa\n\nMere yaar da chamkhiya diva\n\nMere Sai da chamkhiya Diva\n\nMere yaar da chamkhiya diva\n\nMere Sai da chamkhiya Diva\n\nNadiyon par jagda,\n\nOh Par Jagda\n\nAlla Hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKulli ni di Fakir di vicho,\n\nAlla hoo Da Awaaza Aave,\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nKhulli ni Fakir di vichon\n\nAlla Hoo alla Hoon Alla Hoon\n\nAlla Hoo alla Hoon alla Hoon!\n\nAlla Hoo alla Hoon Alla Hoon\n\nAlla Hoo alla Hoon alla Hoon!\n\nAllah Hoooooo\n\nAllah Hoooooooo\n\nAllah Hoooooo\n\nAllah Hoooooooo\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo\n\nAllaah Hoo, Allaah Hoo, Allaah Hoo, Allaah Hoo\n\nAllah Hoooooo\n\nAllah Hoooooo\n\nAllah Hoooo, Hoooo, Hoooo\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo,\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo,\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoo,\n\nAllah Hoo, Allah Hoooo !\n\nContext:\nIt's a song by a Sufi Saint called Bulleh Shah, of his spiritual journey and realizations\ntherein, along with the poets emotions on the subject.\n\nMeaning:\n\nYou can be anywhere and still connect to god, going to a Mosque and reciting a prayer\nis of no use if the same is not done from the heart, with complete faith, to establish a true\nconnection. There is no use cleaning and beautifying your body from outside, if there is\nmalice and deceit within. If the heart doesn't nurture the picture of The One and Only, but\nall others, no amount of prayers can ever reach him. For, it is no use committing a sin and\nthen praying, because only deeds matter.\n\nWe are all trapped within our worldly devices and hence have no time to even thank Him.\n\nA saint chants to connect to his god from within. They are the songs of his soul, as he is\ndesperate to be one with Him. For this life is impermanent and there is no use just living\nfor selfish needs. His love alone can enlighten our path, because that light is not restricted\nto the mosques and homes...but is omnipresent.\n\nDownload this song NOW!\nhttp://www.itunes.com/cokestudio

Nooran Sisters Live at Nakodar Mela on May 1, 2013. They are daughters of Gulshan Nooran. For Her family belonged to Lyalpur in present day Pakistan but they moved to India at the time of partition and Swarn Noora was born close to Amritsar. Her musical training came by default from her mother, Bibi Noora, a nationally acclaimed singer of the Sufiyana Qalam , though she regards her late husband Sohan Lal to be her real guru . She was interested in singing even as a little girl, but her mother did not consider it a fit line for her daughter and didn't encourage her to train professionally. She was married at the age of twenty one and though her husband also belonged to a family of singers who regularly did professional programs, mostly of quwwali, she would never go with them. She says that she fell seriously ill with an inexplicable illness and it is then that her husband, having tried all kinds of medicines and failed, asked her what she really was sad about. She then expressed her desire to sing professionally. He immediately agreed and began to train her to sing with a dholak and a tabla, to equip her to perform in front of audiences. That was the beginning of her journey into professional singing and she hasn't looked back since. Her husband passed away a few years ago, she now sings with her son, Dilbahar, who accompanies her in vocals and on the harmonium. Her eldest son, Gulshan, is a composer and has set many of the compositions she sings to tune and the second son, Gulzar, is a dholak player.\nTo Watch All Videos from Nakodar Mela Visit \nhttp://www.nakodarmela.com
